Tianjin Jin Zhong Center

Location:

Tianjin, Hebei, China

Just east of Beijing, at the Bohai Sea, lies the world's 5th largest seaport, Tianjin, one of China's most important national and international industrial hubs. As the country's 4th most populous city, it has been host to many, recent, large, visionary projects such as the Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-city and the Tianjin Economic Development Area (TEDA).

The Tianjin Jinzhong City project is strategically located in the Hebei District, on one of the main development corridors connecting the historic city center with its new business core in the Binhai port area. It is close to the airport and adjacent to a planned metro line.

5 towers - a 300m Landmark Tower and 4 office towers - form the gateway to the project along the existing River Road. From there, the masterplan pulls pedestrians organically along a new winding River Walk retail street. The project's flowing masterplan is inspired by the city's original growth pattern along the banks and mouth of the Hai River.
